Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies
Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies (print recipe)
2/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee bits
Cream together the butter and sugar. Mix in the egg until well beaten. Add the vanilla, salt, soda, and flour. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and toffee. Using a cooking scoop, drop cookie dough onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes.
Peanut Butter Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookies (print recipe)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking power
1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix together the sugar, butter, peanut butter and egg. Add baking power, soda and salt. Add flour last. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Cris/cross with fork or pastry blender. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes. Cool two minutes before removing them from the baking sheet.
You can also roll into sugar, bake and add a chocolate kiss in the center as soon as they come out of the oven.
